Our Faculty's Traditional Turkish Arts Department Traditional Turkish Arts Undergraduate Program will start its academic activities in the 2024-2025 academic year. The student quota to be accepted into the program has been determined as 10 (ten) people.
Purpose
Department of Traditional Turkish Arts; It aims to raise individuals who have the spirit of researching, examining, understanding and protecting traditional values that are culturally, artistically and historically inherited and have a deep-rooted history, and who have the ability to create contemporary and original works in line with today's developments.
In the field of Traditional Turkish Arts; The aims of the program in question are to train individuals with artistic and scientific competence and expertise, and to teach Traditional Turkish Arts, to maintain and keep their traditional and characteristic features intact, and thus to pass them on to future generations, through qualified and comprehensive theoretical-practical education and training activities to be carried out within this scope.

Students who graduate from the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts are entitled to receive a bachelor's degree and the title of artist. Especially in the field of Traditional Turkish Arts; They acquire the acquisitions that will enable them to grow up as individuals who have theoretical knowledge and skills in miniature, illumination, marbling, calligraphy, binding and other traditional branches of art, and who can produce works by combining the traditional values and stylistic features of Turkish Art with the aesthetic understanding of the age. Students graduating from this program can also be employed in the listed fields.
